Friday 22nd May, 7 — 10pm: OPEN STUDIO presented by C-STUDIOS

Curatorial and strategy studio C-STUDIOS presents OPEN STUDIO – an invitation to Shoreditch Arts Club Members to enter their ecosystem of leading contemporary cultural practitioners and explore what it means to curate today. 

The evening is punctuated by two presentations  “Open Access” by Cynthia Igbokwe and “This is Not an Image” by Jess Young of C-STUDIOS. Each opens a lens onto the mechanics of making and sharing art today.

In the Cinema, C-STUDIOS will curate a series of video works selected by their network of international artists. Responding to the question: What tools do you turn to? The videos offer exclusive insight into artistic processes and how images shape creative methods. 

A drinks reception will facilitate direct conversation between members, artists, and curators, followed by two live DJ sets to close out the evening.
