This Privacy Policy describes information that Shoreditch Arts Club may collect from individuals who visit www.shoreditchartsclub.com (“Site”). The Site describes the services Shoreditch Arts Club provides and displays artwork of members and details of upcoming events; it is not a consumer website. Shoreditch Arts Club does not collect data from consumers and does not sell data.
Information Related to Contacting Shoreditch Arts Club
The Site has “Membership” and “Subscribe” forms where visitors can send Shoreditch Arts Club an email message regarding membership or subscribe to our mailing list. Visitors need to provide a name and email address so that Shoreditch Arts Club can respond. If a visitor provides a name and email address and sends an email via the Membership page, Shoreditch Arts Club will only use the information to reply or otherwise respond to the visitor.
Information that Shoreditch Arts Club receives through the “Membership” or “Subscribe” forms is not used for any purpose other than what is described in this Policy. It is not sold or provided to third parties.
Personal Information
Upon application for Membership at Shoreditch Arts Club, we collect personal information relating to your membership such as your name, contact details, membership details, and correspondence with us. We need this information to review your potential membership and to finalise your registration. We ask that you share your name, date of birth, address, contact details, photo, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, nationality, biography, profile, why you are interested in joining the Club, and your payment details.
We ask you to share your personal data with us upon registration, as we are committed to building a diverse community in line with our values of being: authentic, responsible, sustainable, enjoyable, respectful, and culturally aware. We only collect this information with your consent. You will have the option upon application whether or not to provide this information and also the right to ask us to stop storing this information at any time. Unless requested to delete it earlier, we will retain this information for the duration of your membership.
We may also collect data about prospective members from public sources in order to review potential membership applications.
We will keep and use this information to manage your membership, to comply with any legal requirements, to maintain certain records or carry out verifications, to deal with any complaint or enquiry, to administer your membership and any services, and to review and improve our offerings, including troubleshooting, data analysis, statistical and survey purposes.
Where your information relates to your membership, it may be retained for a period of up to 3 years after the end of your contract, to enable us to deal with any later enquiries or in the event of re-application for membership.
Payment information is collected by third party payment service providers and is retained until you cancel your membership; upon which your data will be deleted once the last payment has been taken.
Communications
We will use your email address to send you information about the Club and relevant events and updates. We may collect this directly from you, or through a third party. If a third party collected your details, they will only pass these to us for marketing purposes if you have consented.
You always have the right to “opt out” of receiving our communications and you can do this by contacting us at membership@shoreditchartsclub.com. We will always provide an unsubscribe option in all of our communications to allow you to opt out of any further emails.
If you are an existing member of the club we will use your contact details as necessary to communicate with you and manage your relationship with us.
If you are not an existing member, we will only contact you for marketing purposes with your consent (whether your details have been collected directly from you, or through a third party).
We will never share your name or contact details with third parties for marketing purposes. We use third party service providers to send marketing, however this information is only used on our instructions and where the provider has agreed to treat the information confidentially and to keep it secure.
Log Files & Cookies
Like many other websites, Shoreditch Arts Club uses log files and cookies that gather information, including the Internet domain from which a visitor accesses the Site; the date and time the Site was visited; country and city of the visitor viewing the Site; the areas/pages of Site that were viewed; a visitor’s IP address that is automatically assigned when logging on to the Internet; the visitor’s type of browser and operating system; the address of the website a visitor linked from, if any; and the search term used if the visitor landed on the Site after a general search.
Shoreditch Arts Club uses this information to administer the Site, to analyse how visitors navigate the Site and to improve visitors’ experience when using the Site. This information is anonymized and is not personally identifiable to the visitor. The information is stored on servers that Shoreditch Arts Club or parties it contracts with maintain.

The Site contains links to examples of artwork created by Shoreditch Arts Club members. The Site also contains links to Shoreditch Arts Club’s social media accounts. These websites have their own privacy policies and Shoreditch Arts Club’s privacy policy does not apply to, and Shoreditch Arts Club cannot control, the activities of third parties or other websites.

This Privacy Policy applies only to the Site and the information collected there. This Policy does not apply to any information collected offline or via channels other than this Site.
