Tuesday 8th August, 7 – 9pm: Belonging + Identity – GiF

For the summer of cinema we are revisiting selections from GiF, starting with the seven films selected in early 2023 to kick off the collaboration, celebrating and exploring themes of belonging and identity.

The selection of shorts screened are the wonderful: ‘Logging Out Of Reality’ directed by Sylvia Xinyue Zhang, ‘Lost Carnival’ directed by Marcella Dahl, ‘Fardosa’ directed by Rukia Mahamed, Iqlaas Osman, and Anton Tammi, ‘Multiples’ directed by Flaminguettes, ‘Love’ directed by Reka Bucsi, ‘City of Lost Souls’ directed by Rosa von Praunheim, and the incredible ‘Birthright’ directed by Jade O’Belle.

Girls in Film present a selection for our cinema every first Tuesday of the month, look out for our new series starting in September 2023.
