Tuesday 15th August, 7 - 9pm: Coming of Age – GiF Summer Screening Series

Join us for our midsummer screenings to celebrate six months of cinema with Girls in Film, revisiting the incredible talent showcased to date in the lead up to our GiF Summer Party on the 15th September.

Continuing to support the narratives told by women, non binary and trans creatives in the film industry, the fourth selection of films selected by GiF explore the theme Coming of Age, exploring issues ranging from period poverty, virginity, and questioning one’s gender.

The selection includes: My Year of Dicks directed by Sara Gunnarsdóttir, Absent directed by Libby Burke Wilde, Words We Dont Say directed by Ella Ezeike, My Mama a Man directed by Helena Middleton, Strength directed by Hedvig Ahlberg & Agathe Barbier.
