For the 2024 finale of Girls in Film monthly curated screenings, join us to watch short films exploring the theme of chosen families—stories that celebrate the deep connections we build with the people we call our own. These uplifting and heartfelt films, both narrative and non-fiction, shine a light on the beauty of belonging, love, and support beyond traditional bonds.

The evening will feature short films by Ynez Myers, Frankie Spence, Helena Middleton, Dorothy Allen Pickard, Runyararo Mapfumo, and Justice Jamal Jones.
