Wednesday 14th February, 7 – 9pm: Dopereaders Book Club with Taylor Dior-Rumble: The Situationship

Dopereaders was created to provide an inclusive space where a diverse group of book lovers meet and discuss authors, titles, and relevant topics, giving the appropriate attention and resonance to Black and BIPOC authors to share their work. These book clubs spark engaging and challenging conversations and promote wellbeing through the acquisition and exchange of ideas.

The second instalment of our ongoing collaboration with Dopereaders is a Valentine’s Day special, in presence of the author Taylor Dior-Rumble of her debut novel The Situationship, a witty and relatable story of modern time love and its mannerisms, fit for the occasion… Tia, the protagonist of this story, decides to put herself out there through a dating app and meets the match of her dreams. The issue now is… how will they officialise this relationship and who will initiate “the talk”?

Come and discuss this new title at Shoreditch Arts Club on Valentine’s Day, Wednesday February the 14th, and stay for drinks and mingling with fellow readers…
