Tuesday 24th September, 7 – 11pm: The Supper Club by House Babylon Volume II 

You are warmly invited to join House Babylon for an evening that goes far beyond a simple meal. Our supper club, “Love is Resistance” is a celebration through food & performance. We recognise the profound connection we forge through the diversity of our languages, cultures, desires and preferences.

Our menu curated by Chef Davide Morganti is an acknowledgment of circularity, where the ingredients that make up your first course will return, transformed, in the dessert. Olive oil, thyme, and pomegranate—each element reimagined, reborn in new forms, textures, and tastes. This culinary journey echoes the rhythm of the universe, mirroring the interconnectedness of all things, the endless loop of life and love.

As we dine together, we celebrate the diversity of desires, the spectrum of preferences, the myriad joys that define our shared humanity. Here, love is more than a feeling; it is an act of defiance, a declaration of unity, a call to speak up and resist the forces that seek to divide.

The evening begins with a poetry reading by Tamara Almashouk and Atimanyu Vashishth, followed by a relaxed, family-style dinner. Afterward, a guest artist will perform, and Patricia Doors will close the night with a vinyl session.
