Wednesday 31st January, 7 – 9pm: Sophia Amato presents: ICONS

Pop/alt R&B riser Sophia Amato invites you into her dazzling viewpoint of New York. The evening will feature live music and an exclusive screening of her self-directed short film, celebrating the recent release of her highly anticipated sophomore EP, 'NY/LON' - a 6-track love letter from Amato to the city.

Known for her undeniable creative prowess, Sophia Amato has garnered the admiration of reputable publications from Wonderland, to Clash, who described the “NY/LON” EP as "a work of probing emotion". Her recent collaboration with one of the biggest, international music brands, BOSE further solidifies her growing list of accomplishments, destined to see her name land on a number of ‘Ones To Watch’ lists for the coming year.

Accompanying the release of “NY/LON” is a 16-minute film produced and directed by Sophia. Shot on 16mm, the extended music-video offers a raw glimpse into the diverse communities of ballroom, sports, adult entertainment, and street culture. ICONS celebrates some extraordinary individuals who make New York City a beacon of creativity and self-expression.
