Friday 22nd – Saturday 23rd September: The London Design Festival Localist Café
The Localist Café by Six Dots Design brings together over 40 London and UK creatives, makers, and manufacturers to create a functional cafe, within which visitors are invited to contemplate the value of objects made locally.
Design enthusiasts will be able to sit within an eclectic cafe on chairs made in Peckham, to handle cutlery made in Walthamstow, and eat off crockery made in Elephant and Castle, getting a taste of what London’s local makers have to offer, including objects made by Common Design, Matan Fadida, and Fred Rigby Studio.
During the London Design Festival, from Thursday 21st - Saturday 23rd September, Six Dots welcomes visitors to Shoreditch Arts Club to enjoy a coffee or meal surrounded by design made by Londoners. The project for LDF is generously supported by Buckley Gray Yeoman.
