Friday 28th April, 8pm – Midnight: POiSON ANNA – SHADOWED SELF

A unique dance performance by POiSON ANNA made to musical fusions of  @jahshakamusicdubs with her own music. For SHADOWED SELF, Anna and her dance counterpart @sadehannah personify conscious and subconscious states through use of Ghanian tribal movements, transitioning into contemporary choreography as the narrative climaxes and unfolds.

Battling and unifying along chapters of strength and surrender, the two backlit figures dance among projected images of ⁠Mars and the amaryllis flower, both symbolic and centre to Anna's identity. ⁠
