Wednesday 5th February, 6:30 – 10:30pm: Not My Blues presented by Make Room
Join Make Room’s first event ‘Not My Blues’ to watch a curated short film programme exploring the themes of black identity and the constant journey of re-discovery.
This programme will showcase iconic soundscape and music-based films as well as encompass what it means to thrive beyond resisting in the face of oppression in Britain and Europe today.
The evening will feature short films by KORRIE POWELL, JENN NKIRU, OLA JONES, FEMI TIWO, CURTIS ESSEL, KEMI ANNA-ADEEKO, IGGY LONDON AND ELISHA SMITH-LEVEROCK. This event is in partnership with The Main In-Stream Is Dead.
