Tuesday 3rd October, 7-9pm: GiF presents Mental Health Awareness Day

In honour of Mental Health Awareness Day on 10th October, Girls in Film and Shoreditch Arts Club are hosting a screening featuring a selection of short films that explore the complexities of mental health.

The screening will present a diverse array of films, each offering a unique and creative perspective on the subject matter. Films will include ‘The Mess’ by Dorothy Allen Pickard, which engages in a multi-faceted conversation about bipolar disorder; and ‘Hard Rain’ by Hannah Berry George, which delves into the mental health of a drag queen and the broader drag community. 

Girls in Film present a selection for our cinema every first Tuesday of the month.
