Girls in Film have invited curator Ying-Di Yin to make their 5th selection of short films. For the occasion, Ying-Di has chosen the theme of food, examining what happens around rituals of eating, cultivation and cooking. The female-directed shorts explores moments from the chef’s kitchen, with BAFTA-nominated ‘Bus Girl’ by Jessica Yu-Li Henwick, to the floor, with creative interpretations of waste in ‘WASTOPIA’ by Qianhui Yu, and plenty of dining in between, including ‘We Should Get Dinner’ by Eliza Cossio and Lexi Tannenholtz.
Girls in Film present a selection for our cinema every first Tuesday of the month.
