Friday 1st March, 6pm – late: Introducing Commune: A Sensory Journey Combining Music and Art to Elevate the Senses

Following two debut events at fabric, Commune takes over Shoreditch Arts Club this Friday 1st March from 6pm until late, exploring how shape can be created and understood in both digital and physical forms.

Digital and physical works will be on display from London based artists Tiziana Alocci, Omer Ga'ash and Aya Saleh.

Tiziana Alocci is an Italian data artist, award-winning designer, and lecturer in London, UK. Tiziana’s practice converts data into visual statements, merging the worlds of science and art to challenge conventional data perception and visualization approaches.

With a background in architecture, mapping and aerial photography analysis, as well as a deep passion for shapes and movement, Omer Ga'ash is able to see something which many of us miss: the way our bodies can be transformed into textures. By implementing his knowledge and personal experiences, Omer is able to convert his models into something much more than a nude human body. Allowing his mind to drift in search of repetition, improvisation, attraction, continuity, flow and scale, Omer sculpts the nude body into the space, creating a true piece of art which is both natural and infinite. NudeTexture, curated by Tamara Admoni, will be Omer Ga'ash’s contribution to the event.

Drawing from her background in Interior Architecture and Spatial Performance and Design, Aya Saleh's artworks serve as a window into the human psyche within spaces. Her evocative photography paints a vivid canvas of the internal world of crowds, portraying their emotions, thoughts, and unspoken stories. It's a delicate exploration of the intersection between space and the individual's innermost being.

Not For Sale gallery, known for its unconventional, artist led model for ‘selling’ art will also have a presence displaying works from Malgosia Stepni and Chila Burman.

Soundtracking will be provided by DJ’s who serve up selections on the indie side of house - fabric’s Pattn & Midnight People label boss: The Real Escobar.
