Wednesday 11th October, 7pm: Patron Member’s Curator Tour - Editions Focus

Art editions are often an important funding stream for institutions and artists. At the club we are honoured to work with two local art spaces, the long established Chisenhale Gallery and the newly opened Gilbert and George Centre to showcase a selection of their editions which are sold to support the free access to their exhibition programmes.

We also have art posters by the fantastic organisation Progressive International and editions created by the artist Matilde Cerruti Quara as part of her unique installation especially for the club titled Intergalactic Intimacy. Ché Zara Blomfield, Shoreditch Arts Club’s curator, will lead an exclusive tour for Patron Members with a focus on the art editions and posters we have on display in the club. You’ll be invited to engage in a discussion with the curator and other patron members about what it means to buy editions and ways of building an art collection.
